This is my latest addition to my pleco collection. It is supposedly an Ancistrus aff. hoplogenys "fine white spots" (wild caught) but I really can't find this exact species anywhere else. There's a cf hoplogenys but doesn't look like it.

So I'm hoping somebody could help me ID.

Sorry about the pictures but they just got and QT'd so I can't get any clearer picture of it. I'll try to get some better ones as soon as I can.

Actually this looks more like it. It has the white on the fins.

Certainly! You'll be the first to know if they ever breed. I'm hoping I have a female with this group of 4.

Amanda. I've checked that 1 too but mine has really fine white spots. There's a L059 with fine spots (very close) but mine has some white spot on the tail end. As it stands, I have to use what the supplier labeled. At least for now.
