Of coarse this is coming from someone stareing at her tanks wondering if there is something "different" she can do.... I am taking one of my smaller tanks and putting a trio of purple moscow guppies.
Yeah Malawis are my favorite cichlids of all. Hands down.
I think eventually besides a few Betta tanks...I'm going to have a few set ups for them. Someone we know just bred ps. demasoni...I would love to have 12 of them in the 33g...and get the bigger tank for the rest.
But my keyholes and angels are getting the 33g they all can't be in the 20g forever.
I could use the 20g with less demasoni but it's not a long 20g. It could a temporary thing...I could get another 33g or 40g squat. Oh lord....I feel it coming....M.....T...S....

What about using the 120 for just them, hmmm maybe at least 50 of them. I'm sure they can't remember who their partners were the next day.

And for some odd reason, I got the feeling you're gonna get a 75 in the near future.

MTS isn't even the word for it when you have tanks w/ malawi's... they are the reason I have so many different tanks...So I have certain species in certain tanks....

I would love to have PS dem, but I am already overloaded big time. I have to get the "groups" I have grown out and weed out the extra boys.

My getting new tanks has been put on a hold since we have to have a new comp.

You need a fishhouse.... My husband is building a deck on the back of the house and the whole time I kept thinking "just build some walls onto it and a roof, I can have one heck of a fishroom here!"

Yeah we need a fish house for sure...someday we will. But it'll be more of city type fish house. Eventually we are going to get a house and have our breedery/store there....but for now we have friends and family who have basements. Our colonies of cobalts & acei are in a 75g at my bf's best buds house. His partner in business is setting up a few tanks at his house and we are going to do what we can here. We have a spare room...full of fish, cat and computer stuff. Once we get our lazy butts in there and clean it up, lots can fit in there. We had a bunch of tanks in there when we had our pc in there a few years ago. But the room got too hot.

Species that I am hoping to find at least 6-8 of are:
red zebra with blue male
deep water haps
Cobue afra
Labidochromis sp. "Perlmutt"
Melanochromis johannii
Metriaclima pyrsonotos
Metriaclima sp. "patricki"
Pseudotropheus polit
Pseudotropheus saulosi
