Pics of the new transplanted 150 gallon

So here are some pictures of our 150 gallon that we moved from work to our home. The flash makes the tank look washed out. With the regular lighting it looks much better.
It's a unique mix of fish that surprisingly all get along amazing and seem to be thriving in their new setting (water quality is definitely better!)

-2 Red tail Tinfoil Barbs - "Frankie & Johnnie"
-1 red tail Chelseus - "Dirty Harry"
-1 Angel fish - "Spicolli"
-1 Silver dollar fish - "50 cent"
-1 Knife fish - "Jack"
-2 Giant Danios - "Bill & Ted"
-1 Pictus catfish - "Kitty"
-1 Blood Parrotfish - "Sweet Pea"
-1 Bala shark - "Bodi"
-1 blackish catfish that looks like a shark - "Jaws"
-1 Opaline gourami(male) - so far un-named
-1 snakeskin gourami(female) - "Pearl"
-1 gold gourami(female) - so far un-named
-1 blue gourami(female) - so far un-named
-1 goldfish - "snot nose"
-1 Koi goldfish - so far un-named

I know the goldfish don't exactly belong in a tropical tank but they were the first fish my husband (without researching) bought and they seem to be thriving and growing just fine

yah - my husband chose the fish without really knowing too much about them - He pretty much got lucky that there are no issues. It's almost weird how much these fish seem to like each other and they are like puppies - they follow whoevers walking in front of the tank - I've heard that oscars do that but this WHOLE tank does it with the exception of the Pictus catfish

Have you ever been in a fish store and walked by cichlids who do that? I've had several tanks in a row follow me. It's nifty! haha

Great looking tank! I'm glad everything's worked out so well!

the tank is 6' x 18" x 29"
when I vacuum it I had to make a PVC pipe attachment for the suction part otherwise I'd get soaked but the narrow width makes it fit well in our hallway

Hmmmmm aecw, your tank is 150g and the same dimensions as untamed.......I used the calculator while looking at his thread and some how came up for his to be twice that size.
No more math for me

6 x 3 x 2.5 does not equal 6' x 18" x 29". The first tank is roughly twice as wide as the second one, so it should be twice as big, lol.

hi nice tank (i could you use that baby for my geophagus lol) i would recommend a little more filtration for that baby, after all its a good selection of fish, good thing there is not a Pleco in that tank (they poop like crazy).!!!
