When I got this tank along with all the fishie inhabitants...... here were my perchies.

1 week ago... in a tank of cichlids... and even though these are aggressive fish they were surely stressed.. they never came out of the log with the pleco and it was a sad state of affairs...



NOW look at my handsome babies, arent they beautiful their colours have exploded.. they are in the 55 gl tank on their own, other than sharing with a 12" pleco... they both are out even in the daytime laying amongst the plants and caves... and at night they are gorgeous to watch...

I now have to build an aquascape for them as I guess Im keepin' em afterall.
