Hi FishLorians! Today was a busy day.... I got a new 10 gallon aquarium and stand to set up (still working on that part), went to Goodwill to find some little cups / bowls for tanks, and rearranged David Bowie the Betta's tank. I've also added a couple of little snails that are really cute as well.

In the last month I upgraded the water filter, doubled the plants, added an air bubbler, changed the main decor piece to help block / cushion the extra current from the water filter, added a little cup for Bowie to hang out in, added some small smooth turquoise & blue pebbles to protect his fins from the pea gravel, and introduced Lefty & Scratch the snails to help my favourite little bachelor keep house.



I found the cup at Goodwill today and decided it would be a perfect hangout for Bowie -- it's even shaped so that I could put a little air bubble in it when it's on its side!

Whew... it's been a long day!

Sorry, my first post was not very clear. I have 2 betta tanks - a 10 gallon I picked up yesterday and am in the process of setting up as a divided tank for 2, and a 6.6 gallon that was established a few months ago and where my oldest, Mr Bowie, calls home. I've just upgraded a lot of things lately in the 6.6 gallon bookshelf... thus the before / after pics.

I am having a heck of a time trying to find the plastic canvas all you betta mommies are using for divided tanks (I plan to divide the 10 gallon)... what major stores can I find this at!? (There is no WalMart nearby... and I boycott them anyway, lol. -_- )

I went the easy route and decided not to make my own. Petsmart carries dividers for 10 gallon tanks for about 10 bucks!

Thanks!! I'm having such a hard time and it looks like I would be running ALL over Seattle (blah! never parking!) to get the supplies... if I can get a pre-made kit, especially for that price, I am s-o-l-d!!
