WOW! That's beautiful! Nice job Alasse! It looks brilliant! How long did you take to put all the gravel, driftwood and plants? Your wish list is great too.

Your most welcome. Actually, both. How long did you take to plan it and to put everything in such as the driftwood, plants, water, etc...?

I sorta plan as i go...no real set plan that is. I already had the tank, Light, CO2, Filter, 3 Driftwood pieces & some plantlets
10th July 08 ~ Tank cleaned with vinegar and water.
12th July 08 ~ Aquabasis and gravel put in, 3 pieces of driftwood added and plantlets from my 5ft tank. CO2 added
17th July 08 ~ Plants added
18th July 08 ~ 2 pieces of driftwood added and more plants
Will start doing every second day 25-50% water changes from tomorrow, to help keep the water clear of tannins.
Hope that answers the query for you

Yeah! Nice! Your tank is small but perfect to fit all those driftwoods and plants. Nice work! Good luck with adding fish.

I think it needs some kind of carpet. Dwarf hairgrass would be a good one...
Looks pretty cool!

As i stated, more plants are to be added
No hairgrass in this size tank, it tends to take over. I'm hoping to get some HC for the foreground, but i have to wait until i have the T5 lights.

It hasn't taken over my high tech! As long as you spot the runners - it's easy and makes one of the best looking foregrounds out there. HC is great as well.

I took over in my 5ft low tech, it was removed, and i'm hesitant to try it again *L* It's too tall for the look i want.
So i'll try HC or similar

Glosso perhaps? That might be easier to find. Or, marseila hirstua is a nice looking clover like one. A bit bigger than HC/Glosso.
