Wow I found these OLD pix from when we got our first goldfish, betta and our 2" piranhas...all in the wrong tanks and conditions. Totally overstocked, but we soon got the right info and tanks. Live & learn...
YET my betta Nigel was the ONLY betta I had last a year.
Nigel and his 1.5g and 5 glowlight tetra No nipping at all.



5g with 4 gold fish and a 2" common pleco got upgraded to a 20g shortly after. The 3 gold goldfish lived in this tank for 2 years before we got them from a friend. My cat Milo enjoying fish TV

Yeah it was...just to get him to flare for the pix.
Lets see we've had 14 up and running at one point.
We've had an 80g, 90g, 3 44s, 110g tall, 44g diamond, 55g long, 27g hex and numerous 5/10gs 20s, 30, 33g. I should try and find all the pix ( I could be a looong time)
Right now what's in my siggy is running. We are getting a 66g to upgrade any Angels' tank again. So we have 8 going right now.

Not too many friendly fish forums except this one. All the other ones I joined were so competitive about the biggest tank & rarest fish.

OMG..................I second that................every other fish forum is so clicky. Impossible to become friends with anyone it seemed. I felt right at home at fishlore from day one at fishlore........

Yea, it's something to look back on when we first starting participating in Fishlore.. We were still using Cycle, had gravel, used carbon.. This is the best place to learn fish keeping!

Yup I joined FL last August and haven't left & won't.
It's like if you have too many tanks or too big of a tank people got jealous. WEIRDOS!!

I am glad I found this as fast as I did... I don't want to know what would happen to my fish in that little 2.5gal... *shudder*

but yeah you all are very helpful and informative.. and you never get mad at anyone!! I gotta hand it to you all.. you go through the same questions each day and just keep on helping everyone!!

There is two of us doing the work. My Bf is opening his own fish store someday in the next 2-5 yrs....so we're getting even more tanks.
