Angelfish

Some pictures of my Silver Angels. Camera is starting to break so you can blame that for the low quality pictures.

Enjoy!

1. Their tank
2. Deer caught in the headlights ---- I mean silver angel.
3. Silver Angels behind lace java fern
4. Silver Angels behind lace java fern. Looked neat when I was taking the photo haha.

They aren't breeding yet =)

My marbles are though. I am like 97% sure that these will breed. I either have a male and female or two males. Or atleast I think so.

Not sure if I am keeping these guys. If I decide to get rid of them I would be glad to send them your way.

well I so appreciate that ...Im still trying to figure how to sex them LOL and keep them alive...all my tank parimeters are perfect..but im now down to 5 ...two are large and the other 3 are new babies...I lost moe one of my biggest ones...and chip another baby...totally devistated me..but im working hard on keeping the rest alive...and learning as much as I can about their habitat and living a good life...great job on your marbles tho...can you tell the difference in their sex other than them pairing up?

From my experience in angels, other than the breeding tubes. Future pairs normally swim together and are hardly ever apart.

Males have a more rounded forehead and females are moer of a straight slope. Its hard to tell but if you look close and compare with other angels you can normally tell. I will try to get a good picture for an idea.

Well the marbles didn't feel like posing for pictures today so I have to fuzzy pictures for a bad comparison. Hope you can see the difference.

1. Male- Pic is distorted aas it was taken at an angle. The head is not that round and stumpy but that can give you an idea.
2. Female

Will try to get better pics later.

Alright I see a difference in their pectoral fins as well(the stringy long ones). So if you could get a picture of that as well I might be able to help you sex them.

I wanna say the white one is a male and the other is a female

The two younger ones are too young to tell and if I guessed it would be less likely that I was right.
