Thank you both They have laid eggs some several times, but I dont wish to raise 100s of baby oscars again...so I leave them a day or so and the other fish take care of them or if not I will remove the eggs myself.

Yep... its natural fry control..BUT... if you ever decide to breed wild Oscars again.. please keep some of us in mind...

If youve had them peacefully for 6 years my guess is you have 2 females, they are generally a little more mild manored than males.

they cant be females...they mess up the house too much !!

I have enough with convict fry that I couldnt imagine dealing with oscars also...

I agree with you about the convicts they have more babies than I can deal with to, muchless a fish thats 3X their size. Baby oscars are so cute tho, I just dont have time or space to setup atleast a 75G tank to grow them out in.
