Tank looks amazingly beautiful. I always love planted tanks with driftwood.

You did a great job, Alasse!

Updated pic;

Have removed all the wisteria as i was tired of having to remove floating plantlets daily, they were blocking light. So as a result, the tank is a bit barer in the pic, though yesterday i bought some more plants for it, so i'll get another pic this weekend or possibly sooner

I covet your tank! I have a 50 but would love a 90 or 120.
Beautiful arrangement and the angels colors look great against the wood and plants.
Really nice job!
(I know, I don't watch TV anymore either, just a movie now and then)
How often do you clean/change water? Do you ever have trouble with algae?

Thanx Jess

I do water changes about every 3-4 weeks (due to severe drought conditions), and they vary from 25%-50%. The glass i clean every 8 weeks....I do have the odd patch of BBA, but i really dont mind the look of it and only remove it if it moves to where it shouldnt *L*.

I had BBA in my tank but it took over. So I had to pull it apart and simplify.
May I ask where you live that you have drought conditions? We had plenty of rain fall here in CT.

Can I bother you to take an update photo sometime but make it bigger so we can see more detail? Thanks

I live near Toowomba Australia, the dam that supplies us is currently at a bit over 8% capacity. Definately not plenty of rain here unfortunately. We have already had to buy water for our (rain)water tank

How big do you want me to go with size? I normally do 640x480, but the last one was at 800x219. I have another of the above pic at 2000x545, would that be large enough?

That would be very impressive to see in larger scale. I think that size would be cool.
Yikes about the water. So you have a way to collect rain water when it rains? I think I'd be in panic mode if I had to pay for water. The discus need water changes a couple times a week. (read lots of gallons)
Can't believe I'm chatting with an Australian
I know. . . how about a movie of your tank narrated by you so we can hear your cool accent? I bet everyone will love it!

I tried uploading the 2000x pic to photobucket, but the site keep resizing it smaller when i try to post it...grrrrrrr. Know any other sites i can upload it too and it stay original size?
We have a rainwater tank, it collects water from the guttering on the house. But to collect it its gotta rain *L* I normally do weekly water changes myself, but the drought has put a stop to that

I'll try for a movie, dunno about narrating it *L* I dont have an accent, you do *LOL*

LOL I thought of that when I posted. : ) All in fun.
I do my sizing in Photoshop. Its possible the site will only allow a certain size.
Is Photobucket the program they use for this site?

Ok, never thought of using the Fish Lore attachment feature *L*

This is a newer pic, a bit blurry, but gives you the general gist of the tank as it is now.

I'll try for a clearer pic later
