Well..........
Last few days have been sorta nutso...but, as some have known from talking to me, a LFS is going out of business and I could feel the aurora pulling me like a magnet! (OK I have no will power to stay away)...but to be totally honest, I spent the 45 min ride telling myself that I was going to stock up on a years worth of all the supplies I needed...I did want to see if I could scrore up a couple angels tho..he has some amazing ones in the past and I thought maybe I could find a good deal on some there...well I did get two of the cutest lil things!! they are a lil bit bigger than a nickel...Chip n Dale is their names for now...

So I was thrilled and they have acclimated and jumped right in with moe, curly, n larry..even though there is a big size difference, they all keep together..so far so good!
then I finished getting all my supplies to last forever, and was in the process of checking out..so proud of myself that this was it, and on my way I was going..
THEN!!!! all holy cow manure broke loose! the place was a zoo literally, as everyone wanted something and there was only one employee, the owner, working..I then hear as im in line, "their of no use to me anymore, grab what you want"! so I get out of line, to walk over to where he was standing, and low n behold, hes talking about his bettas!!!
by the time all the ppl were grabbing at those pathetic cups, and swishing all these poor babies around over and over, there were 3 left...(my inner self was screaming NOOOOOOO you have no more room!!) low n behold, all my supplies and my beautiful angels got bagged up and the bag of choice for everything, was a 20 gallon long!
I just knew I couldnt leave those last 3 boys for the vultures in that store..NO WAY NO HOW!! so of course the boys were free, and the tank, which is beautiful, he sold it to me for 10 bucks ...its brand new but of course I had to buy the heater, filter, and all the deco's...he was out of heaters so thats on the walmart list tomorrow...
Im so much needing a place to live now !! LOL (joke) and I was so nawty about this entire thing, that I hid everything in my trunk until the bf went to work...then that night, I acclimated the boys in breeder nets in my 55 gallon...the bf is obsessed with the oscars so he never goes in our spare room to check on those tanks
he came home today before me, and I got the "
ah honey, um the fish fairy come last nite while I was asleep?"

the first boy is simba..hes so fiesty and so tiny but brave
the second boy is zazu whose very laid back and just roams around like hes in heaven
the third boy is shenzi who adores his plants and is the hardest one to get pics of...im so outta control...I guess now that my kids have grown and I have so much time on my hands, I could be doing worse things...alot of my friends tell my bf "it could be a worse addiction like drugs or something" and his reply is "im sure it costs the same"! LOL
Your Angels are beautiful and I just love your new Bettas! Simba is beautiful! I just love his coloring and what a sweet face he has.
