Some new Cichlid Pics... plus holding mommys and a fry pic
The first pic, is one of my little guys I had in my 5g tank that i bought as a fry, I put in my 55g tank (anyone that can tell me if its a boy or a girl feel free)
The second pic is "cheif" once again after he has morphed colors, he is blue?? he was yellow w/ black bars when we bought him... still haven't id'd him...
The third and forth pics are holding mommy pics, and the last is one of my kenyi fry.

1. yup it a female red zebra...the males eggs spot are usually darker and a lot more of them.
2. 90% sure it a male Red zebra O form http://cichlidforum.com/profiles/species.php?id=1729

4. Male ice blue
The O form of the red zebra come in many light colors. Weird.

I wanted to get some but can't have two pseudotropheus species in the same tank. The saulosi are much more aggressive than the acei. But I love them both.

That looks like a cobalt zebra, a female. It only has one egg spot.

thanks, I had to ask, shes only about 2 inches long if that, she was in a tank w/ red zebras so that was why I thought she would be a blue red zebra.
Of coarse the fish stores mix them up so much anymore.

Gosh your fish are all so pretty! I never get tired of your photos..I am amazed at the colors..I actually looked at some of these fish at petco last weekend....They are adorable in person!!!!!!!!!

Thank you, I am so addicted to the cichlids for this reason. They are so colorful! Not to mention they have such personallities. (sounds like you might be a cichlid person)
