First betta EVER!

Ok, I bought this 1 gal tank for my twins, and we got a betta for it. I want to upgrade to a 5 gal eventually, but this will have to do for now. His name is Jack, and he's BEAUTIFUL!

Thank you! I find he's an easier fish to photograph since he will usually hold still... poser.

Very pretty! And yes, Betta fish seem to be the easiest fish to photograph because they stay still (until they decide 1 day not to like my boy)

Some of them are.. and some are like our Sweetie, who never stays still. Our photographer friend was even getting frustrated with her.

Jinx,
Keep your eyes on Craig's List and Freecycle. You can probably pick up a good deal.
The 10 gallon kits at Walmart run around $35.00 without the heater.
Not too bad a price.

HA. My boy does NOT like the camera at all. He sees the camera pointed at him and I swear he purposefully swims at weird angles and hides in his castle. He's a brat, but he's so darn cute!

Your boy is gorgeous!
