Yellow labs

The male I have is one of my original first fish with the blue haps. The rest are their babies including Mom.

Nope they just happened to survive in the last person's tank. No Malawi Africans can be trusted to raise their fry.

Thats what I thought, I had plans to get miss kenyi out of the main tank this weekend giving her 2 weeks before she spits her fry... (btw when do I get her away from the fry?)

They are so calm compared to the rest. Actually the species we have now are all mildly aggressive. I love them but they really aren't money makers where they breed so much. But great for color and they are so cute...especially when they are fry.

Yes, unlike blue hap babies and aulonocaras, the yellow labs, cobalt blue zebras and red fin borleyi babies show their colors as soon as they're born. Well, the redfin borleyis has some nice colors on their tails at birth.

Yea.. one day I'll probably put some in a bigger cichlid tank. They're good with blue haps, right?
