My first tank in over 20 years.

Just thought I'd share. I've already redone it about 5 times. I think I like this one. The only real plant is Java Moss threaded to the fake driftwood. Please feel free to make any recommendations. Thanks! I threw in 1 shot of a Long Finned Turquoise Danio and a couple Zebra Danios in the background.

Me too! The mill turns with air and the bubbles come out of the chimney like smoke. My Danios love chasing each other in the door and out the back windows and vice versa.

Thanks for the compliments everyone!

I'm a beginner and I think I have "tank envy". It's just beautiful!!! I hope to have one as nice someday.

Yeah that is how it starts, first you have your own tank and get it full; then you see all these other gourgous tanks and then poof!!! MTS sets in

I have a suggestion. A sand waterfall, I saw one on youtube and thought it was the coolest thing ever. That just a suggestion though (I want one).

Go figure. Im a 1965 model (43 years old). I succeded in tropical freshwater from Age 7 until 23, when I quit after my adored and then young female cat (who past away at age 16 in 2000) killed (she was just playing with them, she ate none) all but one of my beloved fishes (6 huge goldfish that I purchased as tiny babies) and all but one of my guramis (the oldest in the tank).
So 20 years after no more.... I recently bought two lovebirds for my 3 1/2 year old daughter, and everytime we go to the pet-shop, she stares at the fish tanks. That got me thinking about... going back (I already asked for tank prices last time there)
I don't know when, but... it's ticking... seeing your tank is encouraging for me. Hopefully I will be joining you soon. By the way... In the old days... not that much info was available, so my (thought to be) knowledge is obsolete, outdated.
Since I live in the Caribbean no heater for me. Good luck and congratulations for coming back... to these crazy and quiet creatures
