I love the blue gravel, I have that in one of my 29g tanks. The others are all natural stones, but wanted one to be colorful. I like your idea of the clear blue vase in there, this way you get to see your Pleco lol.. nice touch.
I was wondering about the license plate tho. I would think that it being metal that you will have to be careful of it rusting.. or even leeching any of the paint into the water?

id say for the pleco either a bristlenose or a rubbernose... both stay small.. or u could try an oto they eat algae too and only get like 2-3"

i agree that i have concerns about the metal plate.. ive read that you cant put metal into tanks.. im sure since plates rust when exposed to the elements on vehicles that in a tank that it would rust only 10x faster... if i were u id take it out just to be safe.. its a cute idea but could be hazardous to your fishies

congrats

the plate has a coat over it so it will not rust, i have looked at the plat alot and havent discoverd anything wrong

so i am replacing it with a nice log in a couple weeks
