Ziggy my smaller silver female has pair off with my newbie, Shadow. Both of my black angels are boys. They laid eggs yesterday afternoon, but they are gone now. Ziggy must have beat the poo out of Shadow, b/c he has eye cloud and was all beaten up. Immediately put him in QT with meds. He looks better. Angels can be mean.

Hi Allie, yep, Angels can sure be mean, they do not live up to their namesake thats for sure! Sorry to hear you lost the eggs....
My two angels that got along for so long ended up being aggressive, more so the black marble than the silver. I used a divider in the 29g for months, but when I had a very aggressive Discus I had to make some changes. I took out the divider, moved the silver angel to the 55g tank and moved the aggressive Discus in with the aggressive marble Angel in the 29g. All are peaceful now.
But boy.. you sure do have to watch those angelfish for aggression!

We NEVER get to see if they eggs last more than a day or 2. BUT I have 2 angelfish pairs now so I imagine in the future once we move, I am gonna try to breed angelfish. Err help them I should say...they have the first part down pat. NOW if they would just stop eating the eggs!
