Our new common pleco, Petey

He is the most active common pleco I have ever had. He schools with the africans and they don't bother him. He IS the biggest fish in the tank.
I swear he poses for pixs.

maybe it's the angle but he looks different than the common plecos that I've seen, even the ones over 12". He's quite a handsome pleco.

He does in person too...he has like a reddish/ trim around his fins. But he is just a plain old common. He looks more like the Pterygoplichthys pardalis. He's got a huge dorsal fin too.
He was in a tank that the heater was turned up on full and all the other fish died.

That first picture looked like he's saying "cheese" to you.

Common plecos might get huge but they are still nice.

That's such a special mouth! The front picture really doesn't look like a common. Amazing.
