thanks. It's a fujifilm Finepix S5700. Not overly expensive, but a great camera for what I need it for

for the great pics. How can anyone think that a creature like that can be the result of the Big Bang theory!

Yea, shrimp are definitely more interesting than people realize until they have some. It's amazing the aquatic life that is out there and I love finding out about new species and types of aquatic life. (Of course, there's that desire to fill a new tank with it. )

I used the super macro optioin on the camera. It's not a separate lens, but I'd imagine it's the same idea

Hey guys, yesterday my friend Tony put a common shrimp(2") in one of his tanks, and today the shrimp shed its skin! at first we thought the shrimp was dead but it was the dead skin, the shrimp is ok, it looks prettier and blue in color! we didn't know shrimps do that!

It's very interesting to watch when they're shedding their exoskeleton. I was fortunate one day and got to watch one of the cherry shrimp shed his exoskeleton. Very cool!

thanks.

I was watching the tank today (as I seem to always be doing) and saw the one swim up onto the part of the filter where the water comes out and fan out....talk about a smart shrimp!
