The one facing the camera on the 3rd picture has huge eyes. Was his growth stunted before you got it?

Nope...they are just babies....they gt up tp 2ft big. I think they grow into their eyes.

They need them for their hunting. Your should see them dart after minnows. They have an amazing way to catching their prey...they remind me of a floating leaf. They lay completely still in the water under the minnows the suddenly dart so fast you can barely see them move.
