Our new 40 gallon set up.

I'm still not happy with it, but not too bad to be our first tank.

A wide shot of the entire tank.

A shot of the right side closer up.

Say hello to my little friend! (Yes, he really is an attention *****).

Thanks.

I like it a lot so far since I rearranged it after draining it and starting over.

I'm just really picky and never like anything I do to it when I see some of the other pics floating around of some great aquascaping.

Part of it is because I don't really like the color gravel...it clashes pretty hard with the tank as a whole I think.

I wanted a more natural look to the tank, but my girlfriend wanted the frilly stuff (like the floating divers, chests, etc) so this wound up being the epitome of compromise. LOL

how about black gravel (or flat marbles), depending on what you'd prefer for the fish you want in there?

Not that many fish in there right now. Only a few that made it through the issues of the first round set up.

That little rainbow shark is one tough cookie...he survived the mess from the first tank. Then he survived hopping out of the bowl I was using to drip acclimate him to the betta's tank water then the trip back into the new tank.

I think it looks beautiful I've had a similar piece of decor to the bluish piece in the middle of your tank in my first 10 gallon tank, lol
