Though I am already impatient to get the super zoom lens (only they're so expensive if they're from Nikon ). Imagine with the super zoom lens you can take even better photos (i.e. more zoom at high resolution - that must be so cool). |

| Re: Got new camera, LOTS of pics! Allie, the camera itself is not that expensive compared to a good lens. The lens I have is probably the worst Nikon lens. Yet, their worst lens take great pictures, so imagine the quality of shots taken with their best lens! I am beginning to learn that it's the lenses that are so expensive in this hobby. You can buy one camera and change various lenses with it, according to the need of your shots (ex. close-ups or landscapes). But what I think makes Nikon cameras better than many others is their superb metering system, or Martix coloring system, or something like that, that I have read somewhere. (LOL, you'd have to ask some expert.) |

I wonder if I can still find the part somewhere. |

Any advice / tips on close-up photography for a beginner like me? I used mostly auto settings in the above shots as I do not yet know how to fully utilize the camera and manual work. Any specific ISO, shutterspeed, etc ... for close-up shots? Thanks Quote: |

We won 35-7 but at the cost of our quarterback broke his collar bone bad and is out for 3-4 months and our season goes until the end of October.

Auto focus is easiest for fish since you have to be really quick with manual focus to get the fish. You should use fast shutter speed for good clear pics. Slow speed will blur when the fish move. I find that the best pictures are without flash but with your camera anything will look good. I usually take pics just before lights-out so the fish are calm. I hope this helps.

If I can combine all of them on my camera? |

It also help when your subjects stay still long enough to get a shot. |
