They don't all look like amano to me, the ones in the third pic in both batches of pictures look like ghost shrimp to me. If they are they stay substantially smaller then amano shrimp. But they are not nearly as effective at eating algae. Shrimp sure are fun to watch and amano get fair sized actually, they molt alot though, and hide for a bit when they do. You will see them start to really arch there backs for a bit right before a molt, like they are trying to crack it open.

mine ARE armono and look like yours Gwenz. They do shed ALOT!! I have 2 2 female 1 male for sure now!!!

Yes a couple of her Gwenz shrimp are definitely amamo / japonica, but the two in pics 3 both look like ghost shrimp to me (the ones with the strong bend on their backs). And yes amano shrimp molt quite frequently and get fair sized pretty quick.

ok. Have only been seeing 3 recently tho. Hopefully the other 2 are still there somewhere. But who knows, i could just be seeing a different 3 every time!
