Re: hi all

Well, it's hard for me to tell how old they are from the pictures because I don't know your tank size. If I new your tank size and had a picture shot of your entire tank, I could guess more or less how large the Oscars are and therefore how old they are.

So ... Can you tell - approximately - low long (in inches or centimeters) your Oscars are? Also, how large is your tank (how many gallons or liters)?

Re: hi all

Your tank is about 75-80 US gallons. I am assuming your Oscars are still young, which means they're not yet fully grown. A 75-80 gallon tank is not a small tank. It is quite large. But I have read here on Fish Lore that one Oscar needs at least 50-55 US gallons of water. So two Oscars need about 100-110 US gallons when they're fully grown. In liters, the numbers are 378-416. (100 US gallons = approx. 378 L; 110 US gallons = approx. 416 L). For now, your tank is good for your 2 Oscars. In the future, as they grow, they'll need at least a 378-416 L tank when they're fully grown. If you don't want to buy another tank, I understand that. I'm just letting you know what minimum tank size Oscars need to be fully happy and healthy.

Re: hi all

hi isabella thanks for that when my oscars do get bigger i will get another tank but that will not be for awhile yet. so eventually they will be separeted one oscar in one tank and the other in another tank roughly the size of tank i have now for each of them .
