is there like, anywhere we can request biographys for species of fish to be put up on the site? as in the freshwater fish profiles?

Yes. Click on the "Fish Forum Home" in the upper left hand side of this screen. Look down under "Using the Forum" section and you'll see "Announcements/Suggestions". You can request it there.

Welcome! Too, you can even write them up yourself using the others as guidelines.
I believe Mike (the owner of the site) will check it over and approve it or not.
