Ok I have done research and I would like to get a small school of fish. And as the title suggests. Cherry barbs or Neon Tetras. I thought I should ask for advice/input. Thanks

Well if you tank is big enough why not get a school of each.

How big is your tank? two of each would be fine for a small tank. You don't need to get 6 or 7 of each.

Well, you'd want at least 4 of each IMO. I have a 12 gallon with two cories, 4 black neons, and 4 glowlights and they get along great!

its a 10 gallon that theyd share with a snail and two ghost shrimp.

you should be fine getting 4 of each, just stay on top of those water changes!
