Lampeye Fish with Neon Tetras & Pearl Gourami

I didn't know where else to post this thread, so I just decided to post it here.

I have a 55g that has finished the cycle process last week and already decided on the stocking list thanks to some of the members here. well, until I went to my local store yesterday to buy plants, the lampeye fish caught my eye and I took some hours thinking about them.

Well, here's my current stocking list:
1 Pearl Gourami, 15 Neon Tetras, 10 Glowlight Tetras, 6 Corydoras Catfish.

I just want to ask my fellow fishlore members, would these lampeye fishes be able to join my stocking list by replacing them with my glowlights? So I'll have a school of lampeye fishes instead of Glowlight tetras.

I've done my research about them and they really interest me. So any opinions, suggestions or comments? Or should I just NOT get the lampeye into my stocking list and just stick with my current stocking list?

Well you will be a over stocked because these fish can be 4 inches and like to be in groups of 5+. They can also be nippy with the longer finned Pearl Gourami. If you really wanted these fish I would recommend getting a shoal of 5 of these over the the 10 glow-lite tetras. That way you be at a decent stocking level. It's a little crowed, but you can fix that with weekly water changes.

hmm... cool! Thanks so much! I don't think I might get this fish after all. I'll probably plan something out to maybe just get another tank especially just for them. haha
