I have some bala sharks, no more then 3-4" long very tiny.

I put 5 neon tetras in my tank last night.

Woke up this morning, only saw 4.

Came back from lunch and now there are only 3 in the tank.

I had no idea they would do this?

Anyone ever have this happen before?

umm i had my neon tetras eat some of my guppy fry before i knew they were there. I would take the neons back to the store, because they would probably get eaten by the bala sharks...

awww im sorry for your loss

bala's will eat small fish if they can catch them and fit in their mouths....so unless you find a body somewhere, it could be possible....the shark and catfish will also but usually they wont hunt them down to eat them but deffinately if they passed and were laying there they would
