How Pink is Too Pink?

Hi, I wasn't sure where to post this, I hope this isn't the wrong place.
Anyhoo- About two weeks ago, I brought home rescue fish, one brochis splenden cory catfish. He had a chunk taken out of his dorsal fin and a very bad bacterial infection. I gave him two rounds of Maracyn. He was acting normally and eating all through out the medication.
So my question is this: When can a offficially say he is cured? When I got him, his stomach was a fairly hot pink, with red places around his fins. Now he is just an overall light pink, kind of a rosy flush to him. Looking at my other cories (of the same type) They have about the same amount of pink to them.
But what worries me is the fact that all these fish came from the same tank at the same fish store, although I got them about a month and a half apart. Could all my cories be sick? Or are they all healthy. I can't really get a picture of the one that I'm the most worried about, because I don't turn on his tank light for fear of stressing him out.
If he is healthy, I want to move him from quarantine so that he can be in a full school again. But I don't want to jeprodize my other fish.
Thoughts or ideas? Thanks.

Since he wasn't 100% healthy when you got him my instincts would be to wait a full month at least to make sure. After two rounds of Maracyn and the symptoms gone then it's probably safe to say he's cured and stop medicating. Give him another week and a bit to finish the QT and get his system sorted out before you add him to the main tank.

... But that's just my 2 cents.

Okay. I've stopped medicating. So I'll leave him in there for about a week and a halp longer than move him? How long before he starts getting super stressed without a school?

I can't help you there I'm sorry. If you're worried about schooling stress you could try moving the QT tank so that he can see the other's (put the tanks side by side if that's an option) he might not be able to be in the same tank but if he's getting stressed by himself it might help calm him down. I know that with our sheep on the farm if they can't see any others (a poorly designed lambing jug one year) they get a little bit loony. Being able to see the others might help him relax. If you can't move the tanks and he's getting stressed give him hiding places and perhaps tape pictures of others onto the outside of the tank so that he can have "friends"?

Sorry those are the best idea's I can come up with...

The tank is on a stand with no extra room, so moving isn't an option. Hes actually doing surprisingly well for being on his own, so I'm not super worried about that, but I just don't want to push it, you know? I'll keep him in quarantine for a few more weeks.
