OMG,i have been just reading up on tetras and it says that people actually dye them,this is horrible,so i guess mine has been dyed,sad,sad,sad,

sort of looks like a painted glassfish....maybe a dyed white skirt.

Are you sure it isn't a Gold Skirt Tetra? We have long fin gold skirt tetras and depending on how the light hits them, at times they have quite a bit of peach/pink coloration.
