gravel vacuuming with ghost shrimp?

hello all, just had some questions, first of all does anyone remove their ghost shrimp when they vacuum the gravel, I accidentally sucked one up the other day because he blended in with the gravel, what should I do next time I vacuum, remove them or let them be? -fishlover78

When I had them I removed them. Catching them was a pain, not to mention they jump......far. lol

I'd like to hear how others do it.

Hi, I've got about 12 shrimp or more, I don't have a prob with them getting sucked up in when vacumming my sand tank or when I had gravel in there. Although I know it could happen. Most of the time they move quickly before I've even gotten to where they are. I wouldn't worry about it personally as long as the shrimp is okay, just make sure to check the bucket of water when your finshed and you can get any little escapee in a net and put it back in your tank, hehehe.
