Can an Angel fish be kept in a 29g tank? If so, how many?

I have an empty 29g tank (cycling) and I'm trying to decide what to put in it. Any suggestions?

I just had 2 angels and a large school of corys in mine. You could put some kind of large neon in with them too if you wanted too. Make sure they have lots of plants whether they be real or artificial.

I have a pair of angels and 4 albino lfbn plecos in our 29/30g tank.

Is it possible to tell the sexes of angelfish? I mean, if I want to put 2 in a 29 gallon... is there a way to tell what they would be? Would two males become aggressive with each other or does it not matter what two I get?

I had 2 angels in a 29 gallon until they became adults and started fighting. I got a 40 gallon and split them up. With some luck you will get 2 that will get along.

I have about 6 angels in my tank, some of them are altum angels, but I moved most of them to my 200 gallon tank.

So I just have six left instead of 10 before... anyways, angels are great, but some are extremely hard to take care of especially my altum angels. I have to do water changes nearly every day, and siphon the tank every 2 days max, and I don't keep any fishes that will eat the left over food, so that's why I siphon the tank every 2 days, because altums need very clean water to live in
