You really should get at least 5 silver dollars. They're schooling fish and won't be very happy with only 2.

Many of the smaller tordeo-shaped Tetras, Rasboras and Danios will be at risk with Angelfish.
Better choices are the larger, more oval-shaped Tetras (such as Bleeding Heart or Diamond Tetras) and larger Cyprinids.

I think that I will have in my 75 gall a pleco , a pitcus catfish, and a pair of angelfish and a couple of apple snails ! Should this be a problem?

Any larger type tetra would be good...lemon, congo, emperor and, diamond tetra who are my favorite if you can find them...they are awesome.

Shawnie do your silver dollars bother your angels?
I keep looking at them and am afraid to put them with the angels.

nopers my silvers are very calm ...amazing fish almost as elegant as the angels...not as personable tho ...lil more skittish...
pictus are total cleaners of the leftovers but I feed mine some veggies on a clip and put in some algae wafers now and then...easy goer's for sure

I did dwarf Gouramais with me angels. They seemed to do well together. I also went against the common belief of keeping discuss with angels, but I had very good success with that as well. You have to be careful with the discuss however. I aggressively check water conditions with that combo.
