k just left a store where i needed to grab a replacement heater for my tank, so i thought okay quick look at the fishes before i go.. omg they had like 40 huge parrot fish crammed in a little 5 gallon tank. (They use 10 gallons and devide them in half.) poor little things couldn't even swim around without bumping into each other.... to beat it all they had a sign that said we make great valentines day presents..i could tell some were in shock, i don't buy fish from there.. but i felt so sorry for them and i almost did ... they were looking out of the tank as if saying omg help me!! i 'm not sure if i should say the name of the store but i can give you a hint starts with a W and ends in a T.

sure does... i don't get it any bloomin fool can look and see there's way too many fish in there! sorry for the time in between posts was cleaning up our tanks and had to get that heater in the tank, in my daughters room....just set it up and checked the temp this morn 68* thank goodness no fishes in there yet... guess we will wait for the starter fishes till tomorrow... i have bought fish from them before years ago guess now i know why they don't last long when you buy them there...

Funny, I was in _al_art here yesterday and I was pretty impressed with the way they keep their fish...Guess it depends on the people working there

nope our betta is just a beatiful blue boy... but i do wish i could find one like him... i assume he's real since i found that photo on this site.. loved him... hopefully will find one someday.

As far as the wal-mart fish go, they don't pay someone to watch and care for the fish all day, its more like which employee draws the short straw. At my local wal-mart these two idiots just feed other fish to the fancy oscars all day, its really depre3ssing but the wal mart doesn't have cameras on that aisle so they probably won't get fired as long as they keep sweeping the floors, and cleaning the bathrooms all day.
