best snail eating fish

hi, i'm looking for the best snail eating fish for my tank. i have a 10g with live plants and 5 small community fish. i've read that loaches are good, but i'm not sure if there's any that will fit my tank without exceeding the limit.

thanks

Clown loaches are very good at eating snails but they do get quite big at 12 inches.
but I dont know of something that will fit in a 10G tank

loaches wouldn't fit in without overloading the tank. It's full or overloaded now, unfortunately.

I'm afraid that Red-Tailed Shark will likely end up harassing the cories to death.

The only fish that I know of that could fit in a 10g that loves eating snails is a dwarf puffer, but they are more territorial than Red-Tailed Sharks, and will likely take chunks out of your plants and the other fish.

The best way to limit a snail infestation is to make sure you aren't overfeeding the fish.

Aren't Dwarf Puffers brackish, Don't they need some salt?

I believe they can be acclimated to either FW or brackish.

ok, thanks for the help, i guess i'll just remove them by hand. i've heard that putting lettuce in the tank and then removing it when there are snails on it works well. know any other tricks??
