Bumble Bee Gobies!

My LFS had these in stock! One look and I was completely hooked. I had researched them a lot a while ago and know that the ones with solid bands do better in freshwater than the ones with broken bands. Mine have the solid bands of black, good color and they had them in the store a full week before I got them. Yay! I have 2 of them in slightly brackish water with my 2 mollies and their fry. (about the same salt as the fish store had)

I got them to eat thawed frozen bloodworms and the store said they have been fine on frozen brine shrimp, which I also have here.

So, fingers crossed that they will live long and happy lives!

Is that all they eat? I have one myself and i've seen it at least take in total flakes. I dont know if they actually eat it though. Ive only had it for 4 days so I dont know if it will really survive or not.

Re: Bumble Bee Gobies!

I have read that feeding them is the biggest challenge. They prefer live or frozen foods, and it needs to be moving. So, if you can get frozen brine shrimp or bloodworms that is great- and the rest of your fish would love you for it, too!
