dead ich or scales?

my black molly was just cured for ICH. now she is acting normal mostly. now she scratches on a rock and black things fall off. what is she doing?

ammonia:0
nitrite:10+
nitrate:20
pH:6.8
chlorine:0 (theres not much in my tap anyway)

Oh my...

wonton, I know your aquarium info says you are getting a bigger tank soon; but I need to reiterate that you need to do this as soon as you possibly can. In my honest opinion this is beyond what I would call overstocked. If your aquarium info is just out of date and you did indeed upgrade your tank, please update it so we can be of better help.

I see your nitrite is 10. is that correct? You will need to do a massive amount of water changes to not only bring that down, but also to keep it down with that many fish in such a small tank.

I'm honestly not sure what the "black things" are that are coming off, but the high nitrite is likely causing her scratching behavior.

getting tank today or tomorrow. ill update as soon as i get it. does using decorations from an old tank spped up cycling?

got the tank and used the stuff in the old tank and abandoned it. i skipped ammonia because i see nitrite on the first day.

I'm confused (I do that easily lol)

What size tank did you get?
Did you transfer decorations, filter, gravel?
What do you mean you skipped ammonia?

Did you add the old water? Where are your fish?

i transferred gravel and decorations. yes i added some old water. the tank is a 10gal. i started it back up 4 my molly fry i just got. i saw nitrite but not ammonia. i transferred all my fish.
