| OK this was just wierd... So I look in my tank this evening and my female cherry barb has a big white thing on/coming out of her mouth. She was fine this morning. I was on my way out the door so I had to leave her. When I got back 3 hours later the thing looked like a white ball she was holding. It didn't look like fin rot but the other fish were trying to take it from her so I managed to net her and put her in my quarantine tank. In the 10 or so steps I took the ball was dislodged and she seems chipper now. I found the ball and it was a bit squishy and poped when I squeezed it. I know barbs aren't mouth brooders but was wondering if anyone has ever had anything like this happen. Thanks for the input. |
