I recently set up my 55g tank (1month)... I have 1 Red Oscar (5inches) and 2 Blood Jewel Cichlids ---- everything has been fine until about 3 days ago. I did a %50 water change with gravel cleaning and now my oscar is starting to be covered in what looks like cotton. Hes started acting very awkward....went from being very playful and active to laying at the bottom most of the time. This cotton-like thing is what im assuming has him sick... I need advice ASAP! I rescued this oscar and would hate to lose him..

I'm sorry your fish isn't feeling well.
If you could fill in your aquarium info (found under My Settings on the top left)

Hello Rich. Sorry to hear that your Oscar is ill. Can you post a photo of fish? It would be a great help if you can. Sounds like some type of fungus. Don't do any treatments until you know for certain. Melafix may help. Let's see what other responses you receive.
