Overnight i've noticed all the ornaments in my tank have developed a "fuzz" it appears to be a sort of whitish colour it is also on some of the live plants.
Will this affect my fish? And what will get rid of it??

Hello Wendlle. What your tank is experiencing sounds like white hair algae. It has to run it's course and it will eventually go away. You can wipe it off but chances are it will return until it's cycle is complete. Some fish like Ottos like to eat it as well. It's not harmful to your fish. I haven't experienced it with live plants.

OK, thanks heaps, It didn't appear to be bothering the fish and my sucker is having a go at it LOL.
It just looks horrible more than anything.
