I have a platy that is suddenly deformed. His chest is sucked in today and it looks kinda flat from his jaw back to his tail.His tail is also kinda held tight. I would get a pick but no way to upload. All my levels are good and I do water changes every two to three days. I have him in a 10 gallon tank and now a female platy in 3 gallon is doing the same thing.

Could it be internal parasites? If you could find any way to get a picture that would be really helpful... A misshapen tummy and curled tail are usually signs of parasites though... I think someone else will be able to give you more information.

Hello Cs. Welcome to Fish Lore. So sorry to hear your fish isn't feeling up to par. I would suggest a 50% water change and add some Prime or Nova Aqua as a stress reliever. The water change seems to have helped the other posters fish in the thread you've provided. Let's get some more responses before you decide to medicate though. You really have to be careful when using medications and other treatment additives as some may destroy your cycle/good bacteria.
Can you give us the reading for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate just to make sure you aren't having cycling issues?
