High temp ich treatment safe for otocinclus?

I have 3 otos and 3 peacock gudgeons in my QT, and it looks like one of the otos has two white spots. I'm sure it's ICH. Is the high temp ich treatment safe for otocinclus?

I was planning to raise the temp to 84F, but wanted to make sure it's ok for these fish. I've been 100% successful with this technique on my other tank.

every fish has a hard time with warm temps..but its survivable...adding the extra bubble stones will help allot...and dont be surprised to see them not as active in the warmer temps...thats normal too....

The liquid meds will quickly take care of the ich on it's own - you don't NEED to raise the temp. I would just make sure the temp was around 80. Raising the temp speeds up the ich life cycle, which does speed up the results of the meds. However IME, at 80 degrees, the meds wipe it out within a week so I don't see the need to bump up the temp to the mid 80s and potentially add to the stress of already stressed fish. Just be sure to FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS and FINISH the treatment. Many times I've seen people stop treating the fish when the spots are gone and a week later they are infected again - ich is not gone just cause the spots are!

It would behouth you to find out why the fish have ich...

Also, if you catch it early enough, I've found that waterchanges alone will cure the fish. It's not uncommon for my new fish to develop a couple spots while in QT - they are stressed and weakened, but as the fish gets comfortable in the QT and the water quality is maintained, it gets stronger and can fight it off on their own.

IMO most fish, especially sensitive fish like ottos, will not do well with meds..the warmer temps are less drastic ..but each fish owner does their own things...Im not a fan of meds period when other natural methods work as well!

Thanks for the comments! I just got these fish on Friday, so I'm guessing they're just weakened from the shipping stress. The tank was cycled with existing media, so the water parameters are fine.

I've used the meds before also, but I'd prefer to cure it with heat/water changes if possible. Especially with oto's sensitive reputation.
