I've had three other that died in the past week. My last balloon molly is swimming lopsided and i'm afraid that the fish gave off a disease. thats why its dying. i added some warm water and she seemed to be fine and not shes lopsided again! what should i do? i'm about to cry...i've had 2 fish dead already in the past couple days!! please help!

marisaaa...have you added the prime that you bought in your other thread when you changed and added new water? Prime Substitute where are your fish? was the temp the same from the new water as thats in your tank?

Hello Marisaaa. Sorry to hear you lost your fish. I know it isn't easy. Your aquarium information states that you're cycling with new fish? Are these different from the ones you lost? If so, be sure to keep up with your water readings and water changes. If you haven't seeded the tank with established filter media from another tank or if you aren't using Tetra Safe Start (TSS) you'll need to do this daily to prevent ammonia poisoning. Add some Prime or Amquel + to detox the ammonia for the 24 hours until it's time for the next water change. Even though If you add Amquel + you may still get a reading for ammonia but it won't be toxic during those 24 hours.
Do you have a test kit? API (liquid) Master Test Kit is what is most recommended on this site.
