Need help identifying

I have no idea where I should post this, so Mods, feel free to move it.

I have these little white things on the glass of my freshwater planted tank. They remind me of mysis shrimp or scratches. They don't move. The fish I have are listed in my signature. Do the white things sound familiar to anyone?

Might possibly be Planaria, little thingies that grow from being over fed. If they move around then it's a possibiliy. Just feed once a day for about a month, with diligent water changes.

If anyone else has any ideas, then feel free!

hmm u sure they dont move? stir up a bit of your subtrate and see if you have any swimming around...I have them occasionally because i overfeed and spoil my fish ...which in turn means extra water changes and gravel vacs

Is it round white spots? Is it all over your tank? Try peeling it off with your nails and if it is kind of stuck on the glass, I think they are cory eggs.

What is this?

or maybe it looks like this white fella with my angel in front of his mouth, that I happen to catch in a pic? LOL

It looks more like Shawnie's pic. Unfortunately, I have a problem with overfeeding. That's my favorite part of having a fish tank, watching the fish eat. Thanks for everyone's help, but I'm actually not going to worry about it. I've decided to take the plunge and change that tank to saltwater. I'm going to sell my fish back to the store for store credit. The nice thing about selling my fish to the place I work, is that I get to see who buys them.

Agreed about planaria which is caused by over feeding and not enough vacuuming the substrate. The link below will describe it in greater detail.
Best of luck with the salt setup!
