Ich Disaster

So.. when I left on Friday there was no sign of ICH in my tank. I come back this Sunday night and my four bettas are absolutely covered in it. My five cories show no sign of it, but this is the worst timing possible...

I'm leaving for a 3 week trip back home this Tuesday... I'm thinking that I can cart my four female bettas with me if you think its advisable so I can continue medicating. However, I have no option but to leave my cories behind.

Besides getting the medication then raising the tank temp, anything I can do? And should I bring the four of them with me? It'll be extra stress during the four hour trip, but I'm lost...

I wouldnt bring them with you....they are already stressed to have ich and the traveling might be worse IMO ....having extra airation and the higher temps for two weeks should do the trick ...the only thing is you need to do a few gravel vacs a week to get up the ich spores

the best you can hope for is the higher temps take care of things....again, IMO taking them with you might be more harm then good...and the rest in the tank need the higher temps to kill the ich anyhow....vac as soon as you get back and maybe a good one before you leave...
