Mare, aren't they just the best? I am so partial to my platies! I found a sweet blue female platy and she is just too cute.

I am thrilled to report that my boy is doing GREAT! His eye is back to normal and the patch on his side is so faded that if I weren't looking for it, I don't know that I'd even notice it.

I am so relieved that he has (fingers crossed) recovered from this. I did another 50% water change last night and will do another tomorrow.

..Yes they are so much fun, I really do love my platys. They are referred as beginner fish a lot, I personally will have them years from now, lol. I really like the blue platys. I have coral blue with the translucent fins, and what I call 'true blue' or blue wag, with the black fins. And many blue platy babies! It so beautiful watching them swim all over the tank in all their yellows oranges and blues.. Im so happy to hear your platy has recovered

Now that this guy has recovered, I just found a small white patch on my red wag female platy, Coral. It looks exactly the same as the first guy's and she doesn't have any pop-eye or anything.

To top it off, we lost one a green glowfish over the weekend and now the little blue female platy we recently got isn't looking too great.

The temp is up and I just did another 30% water change on both tanks (the guys in the bachelor pad are fine) and I just dont know if I should turn to meds now or what?
