hello i have an albino tiger oscar and it randomly started to loose its scales there is another tiger oscar with it and that one is fine along with all my other fish.. is there some kind of disease that causes oscars to loose their scales?

It's most likely from the other Oscar. It sounds like battle wounds.

thats what i thought its just iv never seen the two oscars fight befor ... so i dont know its weird.

Are they all still in the 55 gal. together?

it most probably is from a fight....cause i have seen scales missing sometimes on my oscars too...but they heal within a couple of days very nicely..
my oscars are victims of agression from the blood parrots rather than the oscars themselves...they both live in harmony however the bloos paroots are a different story altogether...they just dont tolerate anyone around their cave

yes sept the big oscar is now gone i gave him to a friend cuz he ae my tiwan cichlid... and a pleco and few other fish. =l but im one of those ppl that watch their tank for long periods of time =p and in all the times iv watched the tank ive seen no fighting! surprising ehh?
