I bought a new little batch of Scarlet Badis (Dario Dario) this weekend. One, either a female or a young uncolored male, looks like his head (upper lip) is either underdeveloped or is just missing. It is swimming fine and happily sucking down nematodes. It just looks a little funny in the head. I've got it alone in a five gallon at the moment.
Are they prone to getting hole in the head disease? Could it be an old injury? Do I even need to concern myself with it at this point?
