ich now

i have two different fish with i ch know i have am rasing the temp to 85 degrees but can what else can i do cause i have plecos and they cant handle salt what to do?

I am sorry your fish have ICH.

Yup, raise the temp to 84-86 for two weeks or more with daily partial water changes and a good gravel vac every few days to pickup spores. Get a super fine filter pad and stick that in your filter if you have room. It will trap some parasites....they will die within 3-4 days with no host. Good luck....ICH can be hard to get rid of sometimes.

There is a product called jungle ick guard 2. It's made for sensitive, weak and scaleless fish. If you have another tank you can take out your filter media out and stick it in your other tank to keep the good bacteria on there. I think this product doesn't kill the bacteria though. I used it and it didn't kill my cycle. Good luck!
