Injured fish

Well to make the story short have a molly that is really mean with the rest of the fish and I think is even attacking the Angel. I attached some pics of the other molly that so far only have a little stub for tail. Do you guys think the tail will re-grow? What can I use to treat it? The other is the Angel that just today showed some cotton looking spots on two of the fins. Help please.

poor thing the best thing for the tail will be pristine water. you can do small daily changes if necessary, but no more than 5-10% or you'll risk a mini-cycle and possibly stress out your fish.

as far as the spots on the angel's tail, it could definitely be some kind of fungus but it's hard to tell from the picture.

I just got some Pimafix for the Angel because it really looks like fungus and notice it had some pieces that another fish nibble on so I separated him so he can do any harm to no other fishies. Lets just hope for the best.

Well looks like the fungus is going away. Put the aggressive mollie on Freecycle to see if someone is interested on him.

I had a gourami that got his tail bitten off and it grew back just fine - I made sure the water was clean, boosted the temp a little to help and fed bloodworms every day or so. Down side to bloodworms is I have seen them make an already aggressive fish even more so right after feeding.
